We will discuss all items on the contract to make sure we are under the same agreement to all the details involving the sale. We will cover items to be sold and what may not be sold and particular pieces that may need special attention. We will set up a preparation schedule as well as the sale dates. Our goal is to make this whole process easy for you and hands free.
The next several steps are now up to us. We will plan to come inside the estate two-three weeks ahead of the sale dates and begin our process to prepare for the big day. We will move items, set up displays, stage, price, and research items. We will advertise for the sale on our website, social media sites, and popular estate sale websites to gain upcoming traction for your sale. If the home is listed with us for sale as a realtor, we will prepare to offer the upcoming open house during the sale date to capture a large audience during the sale..
The anticipated days have arrived. We staff and supply all that is needed to create a unique boutique-like selling atmosphere for our customers. We use computer-generated price stickers that are aesthetically applied with price tagging guns, smaller items with sticker tags and larger items with barcoded price tags. Jewelry and valuables are kept near the cashier for added security. During the sale, we will constantly consolidate and move items to continually promote and showcase them in an attractive manner.
Once the sale is complete, if there are any remaining items, we will properly adhere to what was agreed upon by the Client in the contract. If there are any valuable items unsold, we can discuss our consignment services as an option. If desired, we can organize a professional cleaning of the estate at an additional cost.
Within 5-7 business days after the sale is completed, we will send an itemized and detailed report showing what items were sold with pricing, tax donation receipts, and a check of your proceeds minus our commission (based on sales) and additional agreed upon expenses. If we are the realtor for the estate property, we will continue to market and show the home to potential clients until a sale is finalized and closed. You will be in full communication with us all along this process.
